Frequently Asked Questions

How do I determine my job code/title and FTE?

Please refer to your appointment offer letter to find your job code/title and FTE.

When will I receive the scholarship?

The fee relief scholarship is distributed during the first four weeks of classes and will be automatically applied to outstanding charges. If you have no outstanding charges, the scholarship will be refunded directly to you. Students classified as non-resident aliens may need to have their scholarship taxed and distributed directly by FSU Payroll Services.

I think I qualify for the fee relief, but I haven’t received it. What should I do?

Fee relief payments may be delayed for various reasons. For example, if your appointment was entered late, you may not receive the scholarship in the initial distribution. If you’ve confirmed that you are enrolled in a degree-seeking program and have an FTE of at least 0.25, please email ctl-gradfinance@fsu.edu to inquire about the status of your fee relief.
